🚩 7 signs of a phishing message
- Urgency or fear — “Your account will be closed today!”, “Immediate action required!”
- A strange sender — the address doesn't match the name (e.g. support@insta-help.xyz).
- A link that takes you somewhere else — hover your mouse over the link before you click.
- A request for your password, a code or card details — no genuine organisation asks for these by message.
- Unexpected prizes and gifts — “You've won an iPhone!”
- Spelling mistakes and a generic greeting — “Dear customer”.
- Unexpected attachments — especially .zip, .exe, .html files or documents that ask you to “Enable macros”.
